Title: 81a door liner
Post by: smith on June 16, 2010, 11:53:08 am
Hey, what do you guys do, with main door panel on the inside? The original one, wherehe screws go around are broke. Do you keep the original one, because it has the paper sticker on it, or do you buy a new one. This is my first project,
& I want it to be quality restoration. So far it is coming out great, ready for paint. Mike

You need to replace it with a new one. Ours come with the loading instruction decals. Check it out on our web sight. www.fun-tronicsllc.com
Hope this helps.

An 81 doorliner can NOT be re-installed, they ALL break right at the screw holes.

Yep I totally agree! Replace it! No reason to put so much into a restoration and skimp on such a big item that is one of the major things you see when the machine is open
