Title: Re: Compressor Freeze Over Post by: johnieG on June 14, 2010, 09:46:00 pm If you mean the large copper suction line is frosting up, it's typically an overcharged system with too much freon. so the liquid freon is getting back to the compressor & frosting the line, not a good situation, it can damage the compressor itself, look around for an added on (clamped to a copper tube) service valve, it's a sure sign someones been tinkering...
