Title: Help to identify this machine
Post by: RedBrick on June 09, 2010, 02:28:11 pm
Can anyone help me identify the make and model of this machine?  I am thinking about buying it and just want to be sure what I am getting.  Thanks!

Thanks!

Do you know an approximate value if this is a complete machine?  Maybe you can let me know what to look for when picking it up?  Thanks for your help...I am new to this.

I don't know how much value this machine has, but I can tell you what to look for when picking it up........about 3 more strong guys, it's big and heavy.
It's really a poor choice for someone who is new to this hobby.

I've been talking to Mike, the owner, for a day now.  He thought it was a Mills 65.  It's near Detroit.  I got his number if anyone is interested in it.

I talked to Randy, the Mills guy in Jeff Walters book, about this machine and he said it was worth around $150.00.  I think it's worth a tad more, but it is a heavy bastard.  Almost worth that amount in scrap.  Still undecided on this one.

I was looking for a Mills 65 when I came across this one.  He does have two machines, but no pictures of the other.  Also I think he has a mills penny scale if someone is interested.
