Title: g-800-m2 cup machine - need help getting into it
Post by: cokecolaman on June 08, 2010, 10:28:57 am
I purchased this machine a couple of weeks ago and just had it delivered today. The locking mechanism is open, but the door isn't opening...I tried to find a locking bar or something to move up / down/ or sideways and couldn't really feel anything. Does anyone have a picture they could share with me on how this looks on the inside or tell me what I need to do to open it?

I have a 3 select of the same machine. On the left side of the machine, there should be a pull out handle, that you twist around and it opens the machine. That is how I get into mine. Is this the only cup machine you own? Looks like you have a nice collection of stuff behind your machine!

WOW,
I'm not much into Cup machines, but that is a beautiful original machine! Great find!

Thanks, guys...it does look pretty good on the outside...and from how heavy it is, I would think it's complete. Brian, do I turn the locking mech. clockwise or counter clockwise? It felt real stiff when I tried and I was late for work so I haven't really messed with it yet.

Should go clockwise. IT will be somewhat tough at the start, but it will swing around and unlock the machine.

yes...the pictures make it look better than it actually is. It came with 2 coke figals (still with syrup from the 50's or 60's??)  ...the bottom of the machine has a little surface rust and there are two scratches on one side...the machine is much bigger than I thought it was going to be.

This machine is a little too big for my space... I am going to list it on Ebay, unless someone here is interested. You can PM me and I will answer your questions.
