Title: Anyone know how to contact Jeff Walters?

In his book he says that the VMC 33 can vend cans. I was wondering what it takes to do this?

There was a guy years ago, at the Chicagoland show, that made a new drum for the 33's so it would vend cans.  I don't remember much about it, because I didn't have a 33 and I wasn't interested in cans, but I remember this guy mentioning that Jeff talked about the machine vending cans and he said that it could vend cans because of his drum.  He had a few drums for sale, but that had to be nearly ten years ago.

I am thinking about making a drum. It looks rather easy. Well easier than a 39 drum. My friend is a quite skilled metal worker. Does everyone think there would be a demand for these? What is the opinions of everyone?

Josh

If you are going to go to the effort of making a can drum I would get your mate to do it for the 39... They are far more plentiful
and you always see them turning up on ebay minus the drum. When I first had my 39 I spent ages looking for a can drum without any luck.

I would think there would be a greater market for a 39 rather than a 33...

Only issue is that the 39 drum is about 300% harder to make. If it wasn't for this issue I would have already started. I had thought about it before and now that I have a V39 in my shop I see how in depth the drum really is. The 33 drum in very simple. I am going to pull the drum today and take a good look.
