Title: How to align a coin door on a Vendo 44 Post by: tkaz on May 19, 2010, 08:46:31 am I've been scratching my head on this one, and I'm looking for some input. The coin door on my V44 needs to come to the right about 2-3mm, but it looks like the screws that hold it on only let it go up and down. Has anyone adjusted the door, is there a secret to it? I was thinking of using some muscle to pull it over, but I don't want to mess anything up.
Thanks Title: Re: How to align a coin door on a Vendo 44 Post by: collecture on May 19, 2010, 09:36:53 am Shim it (like a household door)??

is this so that the door will clear the two latch post units mounted on the lock side of the main door? It may be easier to elongate those mounting holes slightly, so that you can move them in to clear the coin door... they also need shims in behind... chris Title: Re: How to align a coin door on a Vendo 44 Post by: tkaz on May 19, 2010, 02:50:23 pm It makes contact with the vend slot by a very slight margin when you push it closed, not by much at all though. You essentially have to 'slam' the door to get it closed, or muscle it over. The locking bars on the door fit fine, they have been shimmed previously, I'm just fine tuning things right now. I might pull the door off and check to see if its square as well.

It would seem the coin door is a little put of shape... I would take it off and check with a straight edge and square to see what may be the issue... You may have to muscle it back into shape and double check by re-installing, then repeat as necessary... |
