Title: Vendo 81 ?
Post by: msanborn on May 17, 2010, 05:35:22 pm
When I turn the crank handle, after inserting a dime, everything works perfectly in the coin mechanism, what is not turning is the "T" shaped device at the bottom, that will activate/move the cam?  It is connected inside the door liner, with the cotter pin installed, and it moves manually, is there an easy trouble shooting method without taking the door liner apart?  Thanks.  Mike

Does the T turn with the main door wide open? If so, sounds like the T is just not lined up correctly with the cup. If not, maybe the adjustment screws on the linkage are loose.

No it does not turn unless I manually turn it.

Sounds to me like the adjusting screws are loose. Remove the round plug in the door liner to check them.

K, I will check them, how tight should they be?

Should be screws with captive external tooth washers. Screw them down tight!

It's fixed, rookie mistake, cotter pin was not through both mechanisms.  Thanks to everyone for their help
