Title: Bought my first coke machine!

Here are some pictures:

I can see how addicting this hobby can be as I am already eyeing some other models.

The model I purchased is a VMC Dual 27A in great original condition.  The guy who sold it to me told me his dad used to work for Union Bank as an electrician and bought this 27A from them when they changed machines.  Note the label on the back that shows union bank as the owner.  The machine stayed in the family for the last 50+ years in storage and looks great. The paint is original.  I cleaned up the inside bottom rack compartment as it had some surface rust and then used silver hammertone and now it looks real good. Thats all I've dont to it.

I thought it was interesting that the front of the machine says insert 2 pennies and a nickel.  I guess this means it was originally a 5 cent, then a 7 cent and now the machine only takes dimes!  I am hoping to change it back to nickels but I'm unsure how.

If anyone else has any info on this model or particular machine I would love to hear it!

Nice looking machine!
Easy to change to nickel vend - 7c mech needed to change to 7c vend, but you may well indeed have a 7c mech modified to dime only.
