Title: National rejector coin mechs Post by: joesquid on January 06, 2004, 12:11:33 pm Does anyone have a good knowledge of the different NRI coin mechs in use? I have models D7706, 7600, and 08-21-007 coin mechs that I'm restoring and need information. Specifically I'm looking for:
dates of manufacture - i want to try to put as close as correct model of coin mech in my Vendos. I'm not looking for exact dates (although that would be nice) but ball park dates of manufacture....i.e. the NRI model D7706 was produced between January 195? to whatever. Also, does anyone have a manual on the 08-21-007 model? Lastly, I'm looking at procuring two manuals for NRI rejectors, one for the MV series and one for the SV series. Does anyone know what models fall into these two groups? I know, alot of questions in one post, my apologies, but I'm trying to get better informed. Thanks for the time and bandwidth! The closest manual I have is the NRI Simplex II (aka 08-31 Series) . I'm not sure if this will assist in your efforts but I can post a photo from the manual of the mech without the slug rejector so you can see the pricing components. Let me know... Oh yea, I almost forgot... I do have an installation manual for the 7600 series that's approx. 10 pages. I could be persuaded to convert to PDF format and email it to you... Thanks for the info. I could use a copy of the Simplex II if you don't mind putting it in .pdf format for me. I think it'll work well for my troubleshooting efforts on the 08-31 series and if it doesn't, it's just more information for my growing library. Let me know how much you want for your time and effort. Thanks for the assist! Title: National rejector coin mechs Post by: Jim on January 14, 2004, 04:02:08 pm Hey Eric,
I was just browsing through a service cooler manual looking for some info and realized I have information on the NRI 7600 - 7700 coin changers... When time permits, I'll convert to PDF and PM you the info. This probably won't be until early next week, but better late than never... Hopefully helpful Title: National rejector coin mechs Post by: joesquid on January 15, 2004, 05:44:41 am Jim,
Thanks for the information!! The Simplex II files were exactly what I needed for the 08-21 series I'm currently working on. There's a few differences between the 08-21 and 08-31 series but pretty negligible in the bigger picture. What I'll never understand is why they didn't think to put a removable rear plate on these units to ease in accessing the guts of these critters. AGGGHH!! Thanks again for the help. If you (or anyone else for that matter) needs some NRI data, I believe I still have .pdfs of the 3400 and 5600 series manuals I'd be happy to share. I'll be waiting for the 7600-7700 files. Title: National rejector coin mechs Post by: Jim on January 15, 2004, 07:26:00 am Hello Eric,
Glad the Simplex II could help out! As far as the copies of the NRI 3400 & 5600, I would like to have access to them... PM me a link or email them if possible. Many Thanks! Title: National rejector coin mechs Post by: joesquid on January 18, 2004, 02:11:41 am I've been trying to e-mail them to your PM but can't figure out how to do it. Tried e-mailing you at your PM and no reply so figure must be a problem on my end. Send me your e-mail address so I can pop you copies of the 3400 and 5600 manuals.
Title: National rejector coin mechs Post by: Jim on January 18, 2004, 11:40:11 am Hey Eric,
I've been experiencing problems with one of my scripts being abused and had to redirect email and that may have been the recent problems with me receiving messages from the SMC.Com Site... I believe I have this corrected; so attempt to email me at: jim@soda-machines.com Thanks again! Title: National rejector coin mechs Post by: joesquid on January 21, 2004, 08:01:14 am Jim,
I e-mailed the 3400 and 5600 manuals this morning, let me know when you get them. Also, I have a copy of the 4900 series parts list and exploded component view (this is the mechanical coin changer) if you need it. Thanks again for the assist!
