Title: Nicked evaporator line
Post by: rayg on May 10, 2010, 10:01:52 pm
Hi

Looking for a little expert advice.....While reinstalling the rack back in my USS-96  I nicked the big copper line going into the left side of the  evaporator line ( see picture)  I don't think it's too bad ...but I'm a newbie.

It isn't leaking and I  didn't turn it on yet

1) Should I leave it alone
2) Should I put some J B wield on it to strengthen it
3) should I wrap it with something
4)??

Thank!

Ray

Ray , Cant't really tell from the picture  is that deep ?   can you see any cracks  or a hole ??
if not then I would say your safe.

1st thanks for the quick reply .....No, holes or cracks, and not to deep barely catches a finger nail So go with option # 1 leave it alone?

Thanks
Ray
