Title: evaporator pan redo Post by: rayg on May 09, 2010, 11:38:28 am Hi All,
I know I bugged some of you (to many to list) with allot questions ...sorry for being a pain! I just want to say thanks you for your time and all the good advice... I really appreciate it ! Well, here's the outcome of my evaporator pan redo. I was able to repair the pin hole along the side of the evaporator with J B Wield (great stuff) and then wire brush and paint under the evaporator and the rest of the pan... thanks to some jury-rigged tools ...and I didn't have the guts to pull the compressor by myself, but with luck I really didn't need too. Under the evaporator was raised so there really was a big rust issue. I just clean up the rest of the cabinet and didn't repaint because it was still in good shape. So if anyone needs any Rust-Oleum hammered paint I go over 3/4 of a quart left and I can bring some the show next week. Thanks Ray Title: Re: evaporator pan redo Post by: Pat Pixley on May 09, 2010, 02:06:42 pm Ray, looks good really clean you did a great job  and your not a problem this is how you learn by asking questions. .
