Title: 1960's dr pepper machine Post by: jamesandstormy on May 03, 2010, 10:01:38 pm Hey everyone,
Not sure what i have here. I think it is a Vendo56. I am very new to this hobby. I bought the machine for a whopping $10 2 weeks ago at a garage sale.. I plugged it in and it keeps nice and cool. I am wanting to get it restored. Whats the average cost for restoration? Whats the value now and then after it is restored? Any info would be greatful! Thanks James Title: Re: 1960's dr pepper machine Post by: Yarochrehc on May 03, 2010, 10:14:29 pm Wow, that doesn't look to bad from the pictures. If it's not to bad I'd think I would leave it alone, and you did very well on the price.

This website is one of the only "active" forums for vintage vending machines that i have been able to find.. I Have already checked freight and i can get it to you probably in a couple of weeks... Yea the machine itself has only a few minor spots of rust which is just on the surface.. The glass is missing from the door and i do not have a key for it. I have plugged it in and it keeps nice & cool all the time. Im just trying to figure out reasonable prices for the value. i figure its prolly worth a couple hundred as it sets and then maybe 3 grand what it has been restored. Am i pretty close? Thanks James |
