Since these photos were taken, I have added a 1967 Bell Phonebooth, wood/full function, a claw machine and a off road video game. Last night I started re-assembly of a National 11 pull cigarette machine that I re-styled in the colors of Harley Davidson...it's the style with the light showing through the mirror. This national is for my brother...who also wants a skee ball machine, claw machine, video shoot em up machine, and a couple of barber chairs....I have him hooked but good! were in place! Now I just sneak stuff in and see how long before she notices! :blush: The Phonebooth...that was a little big to hide, and the claw machine she loves..so I am safe in that regard. After striping and prepping, I chose 57 Chevy Paint colors from the book...had em mixed and shot...then the re-assembly and finish work. I love it as well, thanks! I'm in the process of restoring my machine and would like to use the hand image. I have a decal man. Just need a decent enough image to blow up for the product door. It looks great. Had I seen it before I chose my colour scheme I may well have gone for the blue. I love the space you have in your room. My little collection is literally shoe horned into a corner of what you have.. There are so many cool ads (yes cigarette ads were cool) but I went with Lucky Strike because my girlfriends Dad smoked them. Gumball Machines are a penny but the candy and the candy cigs are on freeplay...other wise they would go stale waiting for some coin. The slot machine is set to tokens but can be coin in a minute, however my friends would expect a payout! The video game, claw machine and Coke machine are coin...but the bucket is near them. I believe I had to pinch and tape the pack. What chocolate cigs are you using? Maybe there's a new brand out there. They did have cool packages, but the chocolate was hard to unwrap.

I use candy products from: http://www.candyfavorites.com/index.php Trial and error has shown me that the celophane wrapping may catch or hang up in the rack system and they are not heavy enough to move on there own...sometimes. I took and empty cigarette pack and loaded it with lead weights (fishing or tire balance lead) then taped it shut. the added weight from the top keeps them moving and I know when I am low as I see the real deal on it's way down. |
