Title: Outdoor Sign Preservation? Post by: Jimbo on March 24, 2010, 04:27:04 pm I bought this old Standard Oil sign off of ebay to hang on my garage since it had the same sign on it back in the late 60's. What so I do to protect it outside so it doesn't rust away real fast?

I'd just suggest cleaning it up to your liking and then giving it a good coat of wax... then may want to do that every year or every other depending on your location and what kind of weather it gets exposed to?
