Post by: CHOPPEDLIVER on March 17, 2010, 04:05:06 pm
BOUGHT A WESTINGHOUSE WC-102-MD WHERE  THE GUY HAD LOST THE KEY. GOT HER HOME, ORDERED A KEY AND TO MY SUPRISE THE "RACK" TO HOLD THE BOTTLES/CANS IS MISSING. I THINK ALL OTHER PARTS ARE THERE EXCEPT THE LINKIDGE THAT RUNS FROM THE SELECTOR KNOB TO THE VENDING MECH ANY HELP OR LEADS GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU  ROBERT LENARD

the rack is unique to the MD102 model, but the vending motor and its assembly , selector linkages & delivery chute are the same as on the MD60 & MD78. but without that rack, you're screwed, Nice guy by the way... :veryangry:

DO YOU KNOW WHEN THE MACHINE WENT FROM THE DIAL OR KNOB MACHINE TO A PUSH BUTTON MACHINE IF THE RACK ASSEMBLY STAYED THE SAME OR COULD A PERSON USE A SLIGHTLY NEWER BUTTON TYPE MACHINE TO GET THE RACK FROM? WISHFUL THINKING PROBABLY BUT YOU NEVER KNOW. THANKS  ROBERT

I am pretty sure the rack stayed the same, but the vend mechanism was slightly different with the addition of switches, etc.
