Title: Vendo 63 door adjustment Post by: jenkine on February 27, 2010, 11:20:15 pm The door that opens to load the machine has a larger gap at the top than at the bottom when it is closed. I noticed this when I bought it. I noticed there was a slight adjustment on the door latch....Is there any way to adjust this with the hinges, etc. The door makes a nice seal at the bottom but could be tighter at the top.....Thanks.

Title: Re: Vendo 63 door adjustment Post by: scalebowler on March 03, 2010, 10:31:42 pm I saw the latch instuctions in there too. I wish that Vendo had more manuals like that one. Would be way more helpful than the one I got for my machine. Just a parts book for the version that is newer than mine.

I don't see the latches in my manual. & looking at a few V63's in my storage unit, I don't see any way to adjust them at all, ( they are fixed in place) I have had to replace the bottom door pivot/socket on many machines as they tend to wear & crack & then the door will start to "bow-out" at the bottom. If you need to remove the main door off of a Vendo square cornered V56/81/63/90/126 etc. be darn careful when you remove the top pivot not to let the doors top "tip" or you will crack the bottom pivot socket every time.
