Title: Gone LED Post by: scalebowler on February 16, 2010, 05:44:42 pm Converted the sold out lights and the correct change lights to LED today. Menards had two packs on sale for $3 so I bought enough for all the selections. They are not as bright as the origional bulbs but they run cooler so I don't have to worry about it getting too hot and melting plastic, and in my opinion they look better. I will post some pictures a little later. The machine is by the window so the sun will mess up the picture if I take it now.
Title: Re: Gone LED Post by: bubba on February 16, 2010, 08:24:23 pm I put one in my bottle stack on my V63. I liked the blue/white light it gave off, but it wasn't bright. They also don't last very long in the cold bottle area..

Johnie G did this two years back and posted some pictures
I like the way it looks and I've had a few people tell me that they like the look also. Title: Re: Gone LED Post by: scalebowler on February 16, 2010, 11:31:50 pm I saw your V90 project and it looks great! Do you know how much those LEDs that you used for the sign cost? I might look into getting one of those to replace the fluorescent light.
