Title: uss-8-64 Post by: houstonhusker on January 21, 2010, 09:24:27 pm I'm new to this but I picked up a cavalier today and after it ran for about an hour the coils have frozen over...I have it set on the coldest setting...is this normal...if not what's wrong with it?

Title: Re: uss-8-64 Post by: mznb1u on January 21, 2010, 10:09:32 pm MY 64 is set on 1 and it holds the temp in the low 30's. I would be afraid to turn it any lower--I would have a mess on my hands. I'm sure those other settings are necessary for a machine outside in the hot sun.

Mine is at 3 as well. Is it full of product? The fan in the cabinet should run all of the time. If you haven't replaced them it is worth the investment. our thermostat could be bad as well. Both easy fixes.
