Title: Compressor Horsepower Rating
Post by: 90grad on January 07, 2010, 06:05:03 pm
All,

I removed the cooling unit from my Vendo 110.  It's a model VT-1D.  However, on the ID plate, the only data I cannot read is (naturally) the hp rating.  I might say 1/2 hp, but that seems high.  Does anyone have one to compare?  It's a pancake compressor. Could it be 1/12?

Thanks!

it's either 1/4 or 1/5th H.P.

The Tecumseh pancake compressor on my DP VMC-110 is a 1/4 HP

Thanks, guys.  I'll see if I can remove some of the goop and see what's etched on the plate.  I want to buy a 3 'N 1, but I want to make sure I get the right one.

It should also be listed on the ID plate located on the side of the machine

Roger that.  I'll check when I get home (at the library right now).  Thanks, Tom!

***Got home and checked, it's a 1/4 horse unit.

Dave,

Sent you a PM.

However, in case you see this first...  I went to the store today before I received your message.  The store has to order the stuff from one of their other locations.  So, I will go back there next Thursday/Friday to pick up my stuff and then order yours.  I would be able to pick yours up the week of the 18th if that works for you.  Not a problem mate!
