Title: Vendo 56 Plexiglas Post by: Cameron on December 13, 2009, 11:30:07 pm Does anyone know how to tell if the Plexiglason a Coke Vendo 56 roundtop is original? The Plexiglas on a machine I'm looking at is about 1/2" thick and the door screws are drilled into the Plexiglas. The Plexiglas is also pretty clear looking.
Title: Re: Vendo 56 Plexiglas Post by: MoonDawg on December 14, 2009, 12:38:04 am Most roundtop 56's have a solid selection door. The few made with glass were just like the 81....outside panel was glass, both inside were plexiglass, and all were 1/16" thick.
The machine you are looking at was modified by someone who didn't know where to obtain the proper inside glass retainers or gasketing. |
