Post by: Husker on November 26, 2009, 01:07:19 am
i just aquired a ChoiceVend 168.. very happy, always wanted a soda machine.. but with no manual, im LOST.. 1 step at a time.. 1st off it does not accept coins.. it either drops them in the coin catch or rejects them... 3 of the augers work.. 1 is really stiff; tried to lube and "work the switch" but no avail... any and all help i would be grateful for.. Thanks

Not much help on an electric coin mech, but do you have product in the machine. The mech will not accept coins if the machine is empty.
Good news though - I have some parts for your machine if you need them.
Post some pics of your machine!

Keep on posting...there are no stupid questions here.  I have asked a ton of questions as I am new to all this too and have never found a more friendly and knowledgeable group than this.  I have got lots of help from all over the country and now have 2 new (vintage) machines in working order thanks to these guys.  Welcome aboard!

Keep posting questions! I am the guy in the back of the classroom listening and learning as the teacher answers each and every question, stupid or not. And of course, there are no stupid questions.

So please, Keep asking Questions?
