I recently acquired an Ideal 55 Slider with Pepsi Logo on the front.  It looks like the color was yellow on the front and blue around the sides.  Does anyone know if this is correct.  And what the paint codes are?  I am also looking for the bottle cap catcher for it.  The front has the embossed Pepsi-Cola.  It also says "be sociable"

Lesa, your machine was originally all blue, with red letters on a white background. Don't worry about paint codes, choose the blue that you like best. The cap catcher is found in the parts suppliers in this site.  Glen

The majority of the Ideal 55's were as moondawg has explained "Pepsi" blue background, & red letters on a white oval, there are other paint schemes around the "be-sociable" era of the mid 50's, heres one good looking example that used yellow also. I think this is a cool looking paint job!
