how come this sells for $1550 BIN and yet

that VMC 81 Pepsi, [hidden under the coke sign only

gets to $1800],

is it location or something else? i thought pepsi were

more valuable retsored than a generic, [or am i wrong?]

If I could explain  why Ebay works like it does, does, I could retire a very rich person.

My thoughts...

Location is a factor. I've passed on some great deals because shipping fees would offset  any savings on my bid.
Fall seems to me to be a  low period for machine prices. Don't know if it's  because  the charge card bills from the summer need to be paid off, people are saving for the Chicago show or the upcoming holidays or something totally off the radar.
And Ebay is  just too darn weird to figure out. I was watching an auction for a Seeburg Mech cover,  Nothing special, not signed by Elvis, but it closed at $135.00. A new in the box repro  is available from several  repop sites for $125, and the shipping would be a lot less  than the $30 the seller was asking.

I've think we've all lost out on crazy bidding, only to get  the item for a song  in a later auction.

And yes, I'd prefer a Pepsi VMC over a generic one, but a generic gives you the option to  redo it in any  brand you want.

Maybe this is the machine that G.P. is waiting for?
