Title: What machine is this?
Post by: Jake777 on July 12, 2016, 11:50:01 am
EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. Apparently it's a general electric this model just isn't listed on this site under GE which was why I was confused. Auction house estimates value at 400-600.

An old GE refrigerator painted in a Coke theme.. would be worth more restored as a fridge...

Yep, it's a GE refrigerator. If it doesn't cool, not worth much.
The top unit should lift right off along with the "freezer" unit that keeps the inside cold.
Does the auction house list it as an original Coca Cola item?

Its listed as a GE Coca Cola cooler. It's an estate auction he also has a repro westy junior made in china which they don't explicitly state but I just don't think the auction is that knowledgeable because they have some other stuff listed incorrectly as well like an old hit and miss engine which is in fact not hit and miss but throttle governed. They had some other cool coin ops though like a nut roasting machine that looks neat. Here's the link in case anyone's interested. Looks more like a Red Barons auction than an estate auction.

Holy cow! I'm going to buy some red spray paint. Funtronics has all of the decals.
