if i jump #1, #3 & #7, the machine will vend without the mech. the problem is it vends until all soda is dispenced. that is why i'm trying to use the mech.i have an idea it may be the orange wire not sending enough voltage, this is what i'm checking next. thanks steve

of the 12 wires that come up the door to the junction box, only 3 areconnected inside, the rest continue on. the green wire connects to #2 pin on the plug which is hot. the orange wire goes to the switch and the yellow wire goes to #1 pin on the plug and is neutral. the white connector to the left of the plug is not connected to anything.

you should only need to connect pins 1 & 3 to trigger a vend cycle, 7 is normally used by the vending rack to block acceptence of coins during a vend cycle. I'll double check my Coinco manual when I get home tonight...JohnieG
looks like you have a Coinci 7800-A model changer, that helps to know which model you have!

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

O.K. heres a new diagram , if you just wire a small switch (normally open) across pins 1 & 3 without the coinmech plugged in the machine should vend free-play (some machines use pins 2 & 3)
