I agree the show has turned into a joke, oh wait it's been a joke since the first couple episodes when the converted a vendo into a cavalier machine....

Reality shows are cheaper and easier to produce than any real form of entertainment. That's why they're making so many of them these days. And when you figure in the multiple six minute run of commercials, well, there's no time to show detail. And as for the crew, it just wouldn't be interesting to the common viewer if they weren't motley. Now for me...I agree with everyone else. I am tired of it and don't watch it as I did in the beginning. And as far as getting something restored by some famous guy, no! I don't think so. I don't think I could afford it.

Brian your almost correct, This is what the real Victor Kooler Grill looks like. Your photo you posted of the griller has the wrong doors, all Victor Kooler Grills had Stainless Steel as in the photos of the one I restored.

Once on the show Rick sent his kid and one of the workers to find some parts for a automatic coffee machine , (might have been a Stoner) and I did hear Rick say "We can't always find all the original parts so we have to make do with substitutes parts"

the cooler grill he made used to be a very nice Victor 3 door. I know as I sold it to him. What a shame. That was the most solid original 3 door I had ever seen.

And if you look at the pictures, he made it wrong.  The grill and stainless steek tubing ring is on the wrong end!  Oh well, at least it won't get mistaken for an original!
