Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I have begun to ban new registrations!
Not something I want to do, but has become a necessary in light of recent events...

Should someone contact you regarding SMC Discussion Areas, let me know and we'll go from there...

Ya gotta do, what Ya gotta do. most sites require a verified internet acct. no./service for a "true" IP address, this prevents malcontents from , well... being malicious, & disrupting the legitimate members... :;):

Jim,
Sad the lame few have made it difficult for the rest. Have been pondering this today. I suppose you could have a "request to join" form that may or may not weed out the spammers. Somebody would need to sort through these for yes/no. What a mess. JohnieG has it right. Proceed as you see fit.

It's a darn shame that there are people out
there that would do this . These people are like weeds
you can pull them out and kill that one ,but there
is one that will always pop up in it place.
Iwill agree with John & Creighton something
needs to be done and for right now, Jim you did
 the right thing.

Jim, I just had a phone call from a guy with a LaCross machine wanting more info on it. I directed him to this site. Will no new members be able to join?

Glen,

I've only banned a certain email server and an IP address range (Ex. 255.255.255.*) which shouldn't effect new members.
