Title: How do i clean my rejector from a 9800B?
Post by: NipRing on April 01, 2010, 08:29:44 pm
My 9800B rejects about half of the quarters that go into it. Sometimes after "shooting" them in there, it'll take it but most of the time if it doesnt take it the first time, it aint having it. It says on the rejector to only use warm soapy water to clean. But having never cleaned one before i was wondering if a cleaning would help rectify the quarter rejection problem. And do i just drop it in? Do i do any scrubbing?   :help:
Thanks

Well  warm soapy water will do the trick  and you may want to use a cheap tooth brush .
Or get a hold of JohnieG he is the expert  or Tom Collectures .

I was told a little while back to put it on the top rack of the dishwasher with a pencil proping open the hinged part. Havent tried it yet but I have been thinking about trying it.
