I have moved several machines in the back of my trusty Dodge Magnum.  My neighbors are always surprised to see what comes out of the back!  oh

Stoner Jr
Stoner 180--two of them not at the same time
Stoner Theatre
Vendo V-39
VMC 110
Ideal 55
National 9 Pull Cig
National 7 Pull Cig
Penny Scale
Coinco CT-48

and Josh's transitional 81.  The VMC 110 was probably the tightest fit.

There is a lot more room in the back of that car than you think.  And with two 3 foot pieces of 2.5" PVC, the machines roll right in and roll right out.  My only concern has been if I ever had to jam on the brakes I would probably be crushed by the machine as it exited the windshield! oops

Yes the hair is back to its normal shade of gray although it will be pink again next year as I will be walking in the Michigan 3-Day walk in August and the Tampa 3-Day walk on Halloween weekend!

Have you ever thought about getting an old truck?

It hurts my back just thinking about pulling that machine out of that little car.

I feel more comfortable doing it this way.

The way they are strapped in, you can grab the machines and rock them and the whole truck moves with them. Much safer and they arent going anywhere. I was once pulled over by a Missouri State Police officer with a load and he checked it out and verified it was very safe.

I strap them all together and down to the 4 tie down spots. If I ever rearend anyone I know the machines will not have me pinned in my car.

Nice load... looks like my truck on the way back from chicago this year. 2 VMC 27s, with stands, Glasco Slider, SS700 Cooler, and a Tokheim 39 Gas pump... Got a lot of looks on the way home.!

RC--it is actually pretty easy loading and unloading from the Magnum so long as you have two guys.  I pad the bumper with three stadium blankets and the latch is recessed so you don't have to worry about those nice creases we see on so many machines.  Then we tip the machine back so it is leaning on the bumper with the top of the machine extending into the car.  Once you lift the bottom to horizontal, the top of the machine is on the PVC roller and in she goes.  happydrinkers When the bottom of the machine clears the door, you just lift up, remove the PVC rollers and it is flat on its back.

I do watch my speed when hauling and stay clear of tailgating situations.  And unloading is just as easy.  Have not dropped one yet.  The Magnum is a company car and unfortunately, a truck is not an option.  Plus, if I ever get something real big, like say a wow Cavalier C9-871/494 wow

Here is another time that I found myself scratching my head.  Somehow, the Heintz went into the van in the upright position but we could not get it out that way even with the casters off.  oops Ended up laying it on its back and lifting it out that way.
