Going to look at this tomorrow.  He says its an original and I know the tag will tell the story .  He is asking $400, if it truly is an original how much do the added shelves hurt its value?

Hopefully they will come off leaving little damage behind

I don't see how that can be an original, I doubt that it is, just looks way too nice. If it is, buy it. His extra cutting board can easily be taken off but the holes will remain.

       Find a picture of an original Glasscock and it will be much easier to see this one as one of the reproductions they have been producing for 10 or more years.

It is a reproduction cooler. Do not buy this cooler thinking that it is old.

I appreciate the info.  It is in my town so I figured it wouldnt be a waste of time or gas going to look at it.  I was thinking if it is a fake then I will try to buy it real cheap.  What will the tag say exactly giving it away?

      If this guy is trying to sell it as original, he probably removed the I.D. tag too.

      Original had bottle opener on the right front, "Serve yourself/ Pay the clerk" letters were yellow and it really looks like their sizes are totally different.

Thanks Moondawg, great information.  I have a feeling I will just be hitting my head against a wall dealing with this guy but like I said he is so close it cant hurt
