I'm selling my  fully restored Ideal 55 Slider to fund other projects. It is an embossed(debossed some call it) Hires Root Beer. It has a rare factory optioned penny changer. A drink was 5 cent with a 2 cent deposit. So insert a dime ,remove your drink, and your 3 cents change drops into the rear cup. You will be hard pressed to find another with this changer.
This machine was totally disassembled and the outside painted with high quality BASF automotive paint. The inside was hammertoned and the rack powered coated. The chrome was rechromed at S&H chrome plating. The parts that where originally zinc plated was re zinced yellow and silver  (coin mech and such).New insulation ,stainless lid ,stainless scuff plate, gaskets, wiring , thermostat, casters, decals and coin entry/i.d plates. The I.d plate on the compressor unit is original due to a lot of important numbers on it .It cools great and is charged with R-12.The refrigerant unit is original to the machine and is nice and quiet.
I am asking $3800. Will listen to offers! I will consider other vintage coin op machines as partial trades. Especially pinball machines and visible record jukeboxes. I am in Lawrenceburg TN 38464.

OK, I have to ask. You are selling a killer machine to fund other projects, I totally get that. But what are these projects to justify selling the machine? Hopefully you are planning on restoring a couple of 81's.  biggrin

Thanks guys. I've learn alot also. Mostly that despite being small sliders are just almost as much work as uprights .

As far as the next project , i'm yet to purchase it. Usually I have a coin op project here waiting to be funded but not this time as I've spent all my money on pinball machines recently. Of course my old truck could benefit from some love but like my wifes house projects it can wait!  glare
