Title: Oil leak from compressor line Post by: cccc5151 on June 11, 2014, 10:20:49 pm I have a Jacobs 26 with a Blissfield refrigeration unit. There seems to a slight oil leak in the line coming from the compressor. The line is rusted and probably has a pin hole in it. Is there anything that I can use to seal the leak?

Someone mentioned coating the line with a red epoxy or JB Weld. Is that a short term option until I can get the lines replaced? It takes 20 minutes to remove the whole deck, take it to a refrigeration shop in the closest city. |
