What a difference a year makes.

A year ago today I became a member here on SMC and would like to thank all the members here who helped me by answering questions and allowing me to help when needed.

I would never have guessed that there were so many great people here and that I would have made a few good friends along the way. And to think that I started out with a 1982 Vendo Pepsi machine to having close to 40 different machines most of which were found or purchased from members here.

Just wanted to thank the SMC community for a great first year and hope many more are to come.

Hi Ken, Glad you decided to join... going from 1 machine to 40 in a year,WOW... you got the bug bad and much have a large place to keep them all... not enough space is what limits me... and of course the wife has some to do with it too!  LOL

I'll second what Bob says - thanks for your help Ken. It was a genuine pleasure to meet you face-to-face when I was en route to Michigan earlier this year.

I also REALLY appreciate your help with the cooling in my Glasco slider.  Not many people would volunteer their services on a cooling system and turn it around in under 24 hours so I could pick it up on the way back home.

I still owe you a big favor, so keep checking my neck of the woods for anything interesting I can pick up for you!

Glad to have you in the gang!  40 in a year--quite impressive.  I used to be on the one a month plan but have slowed down a bit lately.  Picked up my first vintage slot machine today though!  Will post under a separate subject with pictures!

Happy anniversary!!  Always great when a contributing member comes on board. Here's to many more good years to come.  Although it may be tough to kep up the 40 machine a year pace.
