Title: 500 soda machines 4 sale Post by: MoonDawg on May 31, 2005, 02:37:00 pm Just talked to Chris from Commerce Vending here in LA. He is not renewing the lease on his storage yard and must get rid of approx. 500 machines, mostly Pepsi and 300 to 400 can capacity, Dixie Narco and Vendo.
He's asking $50.00 each complete machine. What isn't sold, he will pull the compressors ( can't release freon into the ozone) and get $20. each for scrap. Shouldn't there be some sort of SMC protest to the crushing of soda machines? I bought 30 machines from his ebay auction 5 years ago and got 28 good machines, sold them for $500.00 each, but they were big and heavy. Good opportunity for someone starting a vending route, startup cost is mostly for truck rental. I'm delivering an 81 door to him later this week so I can take some pictures. What about all the coin mechs and compressors? Anybody with a ranch want to adopt a heard of 500 pepsi machines? |
