I wrote earlier about me uss 64 mech only buzzing. Does the freevend switch totally bypass the mech. I was just wandering because the board on mine is fried. also when you wire it for freevend you sitll have to leave room for the origional connectors to plug in also correct. Is there possible a way to totally bypass the mech completly and have it vend freely.
Thans for your help

Hi & welcome!, Yes, the free-play switch will allow you to replace the coinmech entirely if you want, or you can wire it along with the mech. so the machine will take both coins & still allow the "owner" to have a free-play. but since your's has a fried logic board, it can replace it so you can still "vend" out of the machine.

Thanks for the info. I got the free vend to work. I also found a what I think to be a good deal on Ebay for a coin mech. I got it for 23.00 after shipping and the seller will stand behind it. Thanks for all of your help. Now it's time to strip and paint this monster. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions. ''
