I guess they truly don't know what they have.  I was really expecting a true classic in perfect condition.  I was wrong.

True Classic

THis is my first attempt at including a link so if it don't work I will put the Ebay item number in the next post.

I machine like the Motts (but normal paint on exterior as a soda machine :D )that is missing all but two shelves, spring in vending door is gone but in need of a good cleaning would bring in what price?  I have found that replacement shelves go for $20.00 each before shipping.  I'm just trying to get any idea if the machine was complete but needed those items.  Coin mech and everything else seems OK but you never know.  Thanks

Tim:
I have purchased about 7 working square tops for an average of $70 each.  I need a can machine because for my pool house.  I don't want bottles around the pool.  I restored two other Vendo 56s aquare tops in a Pepsi theme but I gave one to my paint guy and one to my chrome guy.  They are now among my best friends which is why I can afford to restore at least one machine per month.  I will post pictures next week when it is done.

Here is where my Motts machine is now.

I was communicating with the $2,500 guy in Tucson and offered him $75.00 seeing that the machine at the beginning of this thread is the machine I am speaking of.   He took it very personal when I explained what I saw from pictures he sent that it would need at a MINIMUM.  Needless to say he is not interested in speaking to me any longer.  It is missing 5 of the 7 shelves, the door looks to need a spring because it stay open in the pics and whatever else may be on the verge of going.  I told him that it sounded like it has sentimental value to him and maybe he should make those couple repaires and keep the machine around.  So I guess $75.00 in this case was OK?
