I have a 60's model Vendorlator, that was working when I shut it down about 15 years ago, and would like to refurbish it or sell it if the price was right. The unit needs the glass that covers the neon light area and a piece of glass for the outside of the door.
The unit is a 56 bottle cabinet with a precool area. When shut down the coin mechanism was working. it has decals for Faygo soda on the side.
Model # VF-56Z-F Serial # 25056U56L
Any help in the value of the unjit or where to find parts would be appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome Zipman!
You can find parts at most of the supporters of this site (see the ads at the top of the pages).
As for the value, you should post a few pics - make sure you also show the inside.  These will aid the crew in giving you a "value" of the machine.
There are also a few members that live in your neck of the woods!

Thanks I will try to post a few pictures next week.
I have been doing some searches but can't seem able to find any site that has replacement glass, I found neon tubes but no glass, I guess I will have to see if the local glass shop has some, but wanted the original glass.

Hey

I may be interested. Where do you live?

I just put my VMC56 in operation. I can help with some of the parts or at least give direction.

You can get the glass for the lighted area from Funtronics.

Hey Zipman - there's a few us here that have VMC56's.  Complete machines sell for anywhere from $150 - 350 depending on where you are (and the luck of the draw on timming).  Haven't come across a Faygo machine so that may affect the price depending on how nice the finish is...

I have one that's almost refinished, and just picked up a second as a parts machine this morning from Petey64 (Thanks Pete!).  You need to post some pics as not all VMC56's are the same on the outside.  Bottle doors are the same and the mech's inside are the same but there are at least 2 small door (over the coin mech and stuff) versions.  The fact that you have a neon light may add another version (or someone's retrofit).

Anyway let us know what you need and what you want to sell the machine (and where you are located - shipping can be a killer).

my location is Canton Michigan.  The machine needs a good cleaning, it has been in the garage for the last 15 years.  Where did you find the specs for your machine, I couldnt' find any or any pictures? can you post a few pics of your machine?
Thanks

If it's a Faygo machine it is probably a later machine like Bryan's.  Would love to see some pictures of it though.  If someone buys this they shouldn't be allowed to restore as anything but a Faygo machine,  they are to far and few between to destroy, the world has enough Coke machines as it is.  Zipman I would probably be interested in purchasing although the budget is smaller then it used to be given the economy in these parts(I'm in Brownstown)  Johnie G on these boards also has a soft spot for the Faygo machines.
