Title: National Rejectors 5800 cover plate
Post by: KennyG on February 09, 2012, 10:01:24 am
Can someone tell me how important the cover plate is to successful operation of the coin mechanism?  I have a national 5800 but without a cover plate.  It is for my Vendo 81D.  I finally got it working thanks to the dishwasher but have not assembled it and tried it in the coin mechanism yet. Just trying to anticipate and/or avoid problems at assembly.
Thanks
Ken

It contains rejected coins and directs them to the coin return. Without it, rejected coins will most likely fall loose in the coin door area somewhere.
