Big Blue has arrived!  I picked this up early this year from John (Signguy) and I wasn't going to post this until after it was completed but I thought that this was just too funny.  If anyone ever wants one of these in their house, I'd think twice.  It's big and blue and will drop your testes too.  This monster is 6' 6" x 32" wide.  I don't know the weight, but it is up there.  Just look at how it drawfs the other machines.  That's the funny part. laugh

I'd like to thank John for meeting me in the Dells and helping me get this beast in my van and Cokemachinesandmore for coming over with his buddy Donny and helping me getting this thing down in my basement.  The next home owners might inherit this.

I even removed the condensing unit, belts, and gearing and it still was heavy.

I'll post some pics when it is finished.

Wow Larry... you got a nice collection down there.. That machine looks cool, but does look like it belongs tied to a chain hanging from the cruise ship I just got off of.

I'd leave it down there too. I am sure it was a lot easier to get it down the stairs than it will be to get it up the stairs!
You'll be older when it comes time to move it again too.

I would have taken the door off also or does it come off like the other machines with a wiggle and lift?
All the kids will love it I'm sure! Mine would and that is partly why I don't have an IC machine.

My testes dropped just by looking at the picture!  But, I'd love to have a machine like that.  My kids and wife (and me) love ice cream.

Wow, that sucker is big!
Does it dispense little ice cream cups, or ice cream sandwiches?

I was going to take the door off but I was worried about the wiring.  I had two of these machines.  One was gutted and this one was saved.  The gutted one actually had a wire harness so you could disconnect the wiring from the brain box to remove the door.  The one I kept did not have the harness and I didn't want to cahnce breaking anything.

It takes what ever will fit in the belts.  I have one cone belt and two ice cream bars or ice cream sandwich belts.  I kept one ice cream bar  belt and the gears from the scrap machine just incase I ever wanted to make the cone selection into an ice cream bar selection.

Space is very limited.  This is not the permanent home.  It's going in the corner.  It looks ridiculous where it is.

I sold my Evans Rolletto Jr.  That will be replaced by the Acme Roulette and I still have to get rid of one Stoner and I believe I will put my Vmc72 in the garage and bring in the Mills 400c, but that will be next year.

I also have a ton of beer signs that need to be hung on the wall.

The other side of the basement has some E.M. games.  I have room for one more game.......a Chicago Coin Twin Rifle shooting gallery.

HI LEONARD. biggrin biggrin biggrin hopefull biggrin biggrin biggrin

I'm sorry, I couldn't get past the mammoth blue machine to notice the excellent collection sitting in the same room. Lucky for you the price of steel is down this year, or that thing would have cost you a pretty penny.

That sucker was heavy, but the biggest problem was the way the entrance to Larry's basement is configured. I can't wait till it's stocked biggrin

Well I officially declare this machine finished.

Thanks to all that helped me with this beast.

I was waiting for my black decal to arrive, plus I finally cut out my display images.  The top ones by the arrows were translucent, but the ink looks to weak so I redid them with photo paper instead.  You loose the effect of the light going through, but I think the print looks better.

I was wondering what went in the red arrow windows.  No one seemed to know.  Then a friend of mine sent me a scan of the original flyer.  Now we know for sure what was in those arrows.

Very nice! so does the "drumstick" selection have the proper "ammo-belt" to hold the cones/round openings? ( as opposed to the sandwich-bar selection that have the rectangular "ammo-belt" openings

It has the proper belts and gears.  The cone has a different sized gear because there is less product in the cone vs the flat bars.  The motors all turn the same so the gearing needs to be changed.

I had another machine that I stripped for parts.  I sold two belts and kept the other flat belt and its gears.  So if I wanted to, I could make it all flat bars instead of the one cone and two flats.

Yeah they do weight a ton ( 650lbs) I had to move three of them once upon a time. this ones a post-select version, I also know of the earlier "pre-select" model. the motors & timing gears on the back are a piece of work in themselves.

Johnie,

I feel your pain! I remember picking those two machines up that you shipped down here to Indiana via Ohio. You did a great job "palletizing" them and that made it easier to get them into my buddies trailer. 1300lbs of love!

His poor little truck almost gave up the ghost on the way home though! Some of the grades we had to climb had me replaying in my mind "I think I can, I think I can"  laugh

That one has been on Ebay a few times.  The price keeps getting lower.  I like the 1957 version with the products on top.
