If ya happened to see the news from SC about the train collision, I am not affected by the chemical release...it was about 60 miles from where I am...Thank the great one above for sparing us. What a tragedy.

I am in Kansas.  Just got my power back on.  It has been off sense Tuesday night.  Some of the surrounding towns (like Wichita) are looking at Monday at the earliest to get their power back on.  The lows have been around 7 degrees at night.

I am from Cincinnatti Oh it has been warmer than usual the past few days but it is 34 degrees today. I just moved here from sunny Daytona Beach where it has been around 75 degrees. I should be shot for moving back up north.

From Northern Virgina.  Ready for some snow, but I don't know if we will get any this month.  They are talking 60's-70's next week.

COLD ??!?!    FRIGID ?!?!?!

We were 39 below zero on Wednesday night.....60 below with the wind chill!!!

Massachusetts here, we had 39 inches of snow 2 weeks ago.  Been extremely cold, although today it's in the thirties.

My father calls me from Sun Lakes, AZ and loves to remind me that it's in the seventies and sunny.  Ruthless man... '<img'>

Another crappy day in paradise...  Sunny and 70 in Phoenix!  
(did some time in the cold 5 yrs in VT and 30 yrs in Toronto Canada)

64 in San Jose Ca. Had to mow the grass today. Spent 30 yrs in KS though so understand cold.
