Title: Are your vending machines properly insured
Post by: Pat Pixley on December 12, 2001, 07:27:48 pm
I  am in the insurance business , and I also collect vending
machine's .  I have mine scheduled on my home ownes policy
there is also some  company that are writing insurance for
collectable's .  I have seen some one loss there collection
of Mickey Mouse stuff  from the early 1950  and  did not have it properly insured and his insurance company only gave him a
small portion of what it was worth , The  company said if he had it scheduled  he would have been fine.  Check with your
insurance agent or  your insurance campany to find out what
you have to do. If you need help contact me.
thanks. :D

Well now that I have your attention about the Insurance
issue. Here  are some things to look at .

The cost to Insure  my vending machine's is .75 cent's per
hundred this is with a 0 deductable and this is on  a schedule
on my home owners policy, Your insurance companies rate might be different and you can have a higher deductable.

There is also a company called AMERICAN COLLECtOR's  they
write all but four state, Alaska, Wyoming, south carolina &
Hawii, The thing's that they need are Photo's And value, This is a all risk policy With a $100  deductable  They want collector's Not people  that are  Buying & Selling and are
making a business out of this. They have a web sit it is
www.americancollectorins.com  then click on collectable's
or call them at ph. 1800 360 2277 and ask for a
underwriter in collectable's :)  :)
