Title: United shuffle bowl
Post by: kbareit on November 17, 2012, 08:44:31 pm
I found this shuffle bowl on CL and was wondering what a fair offer would be. It's in two parts and hasn't been used in 25 years. It's listed at $600.00 but will consider a fair offer. Any input would be appreciated.
                                                           Thanks, Ken

That's a cool game from 1961.  That's the only era of United's that I like.  It has Flash, Progressive, Advance, Spares, and Regulation.  That's five of the eight United 1960's games that I like.  $300.00 would be a fair price.  A lot of work taking it apart, but these were bullet proof.  Usually, a good cleaning is what it would take to get it going.  Just make sure all the motors and steppers are there.

I went and looked it and all the electrical was there but the legs were missing and some of the plywood was separating. After going thru the whole machine and pointing out what needed done we agreed $200.00 was a fair price and it now sits in my trailer. I'll try to move it the house later.
