On my Ideal 55- is it possible to remove the left side sheet metal panel? There is a large dent in the side- forward of the coin mechanism bracket. I was hoping I could remove the panel to pop the dent out.

I have a feeling it is spot welded to the other panels.

Yes, it's spot welded to the front & side panels.
