Posted this on another post, but thought I would post a new thread. Picked this up from the same seller of the Cigaromat.
Anybody know anything about it? I found a recent Morphy auction of a similar model, but that is it.
The machine in the auction was a 10 cent machine and mine is a quarter, but could easily be converted back to a dime. When a coin is inserted, a prize (gumball or bouncy ball, etc.) drops down and then you get 10 shots at the targets that pop up.

Thanks!

It looks like a newer version of the A.B.T Junior Deputy Sheriff game.

I used to see these on Ebay before, but I haven't been looking lately.

Here's a photo that I found on the net from one site, and here's a youtube video that I found by coinopny.  I believe that is Mickey Treat.  He has a lot of nice rare items, but I could never afford any of them.  I think he's over priced, but that's my opinion.  I saw an add and he wanted the best offer over $1,200.00. glare

I found some more information on it from a tag underneath - an 800 number too.
I thought it was 70's, but turns out it could be as late as '88. When did 800 numbers come about?
Talked to a guy today at the 800 number who said that 1988 is when they stopped building them. Also said they were $1200 new (plus shipping). Good news is I was able to order all new lock sets (3) for it and a new coin pan for under $30 (inc. shipping).
Took the gun apart today and fixed it - fires every time now - fun game! It is really hard to get 10 out of 10!
My 7-year-old loves it and the 3-year-old tries, but doesn't quite get the aiming part.

Very cool!  Make sure you take videos of your kids playing the game.  Later when they're older, it's cool to check out that moment again.  They have great reactions at that age.

I was surprised that they went to the 80's.  It's great that you found your parts.  That's always a good feelin'

He said that they actually went to an electronic delivery of the gumball and mine isn't electric, so it is probably not an 80's model.
I almost shot myself in the head with the gun (which would've hurt BAD!). I had the gun assembly removed and had fired it a few times to clear it (I thought). I was looking down the barrel to see if I could figure out why it was not loading and slowly pulling the trigger when a ball came shooting past my head. I'm very fortunate that my natural gun instincts had the gun slightly tilted away or I could've lost an eye real easy. Those BB's really come out of that gun fast!

I can just see the headlines "Man dies by self inflicted wound from arcade gun!.  oh

If I ever have to mess with it again, I'll be sure to count the BB's before I do anything!
