If you didn't pay much for shipping Yes. The later models are lighter and better at keeping things cold. You could paint it to anything you want and use it without worry.

Thanks.  The plan is to do a classic miller lite design with it.  I knew it wasnt a coveted piece or anything like that.

I got this cooler disassembled today, at least the insides, and had to cut the drain plug off to do so.  Anyone know where I can find a replacement piece for that?  It's about 1/2" round and probably 1 1/2" long.

It was rusted on there some kind of good.  Had to cut it off to get it loose.

Also, is there a way to clean/whiten the plastic liners?

I ran across some plastic cleaner years ago but don't know the name. It cleaned plastic real nice. Just have to look around the store.

I'm still searching out the plastic cleaner, as I'm re-working an old stamp vending machine turning into a fortune telling machine.

Anyhow, does anyone know where I can pick up a new drain plug for these coolers?  I'd like to get the metal one like it used to have in it before I was forced to cut it off to remove it.

Thanks!

The best plastic polish that I know of is called novos plastic polish. Its great stuff. I had a foggy lense on a parking meter and rubbed it out by hand and was clear as a bell when done. Great stuff!
