You did good on that one.  It should be easy to prep for new paint and lettering if you want it to look near new.  I bought a nicely painted and lettered Temprite 6 pak off ebay that I use frequently.

Nice grab.. Might try some elbow grease as it might clean up nice as is... Is it Navel Jelly that would clean up the rust or CLR and won't hurt the paint.
