I am restoring my first vending machine and cant figure out why the glass door liner will not allow the door to shut all the way. It appears to be in correctly. Is there a way to adjust the spacing or does anyone have any suggestions? The model number is USS-8-64K DP  April 1972 model. I believe this is a Cavalier 64 unless I was given the wrong information.

The height of the heads of the screws needs to be minimal. If you used roundhead screws, they will keep the hinge from closing fully.

You have a Cavalier 64, not to be confused with Vendo's model 63.

These are the screws I used on the door frame. The flat ones are connected to the large door and the round ones are connected to the glass door frame. It will close if I push it but it wont close if I just let the springs do it.

Do these look like the correct screws for each part of the mount?

        Did you re-wind the springs?
