There's a Vendo 81 that I was pursuing, and I'm not so sure about the refrigeration unit.  Can anyone tell me if this is a replacement unit?

It's Original alright, but it has been painted/detailed semi-gloss black & they sprayed over the copper lines, rewired & it has a replacement fan shroud, looks like the unit has no tap-valves, so that's good, the system is still sealed, and the harness-plug mounting bracket & evap' coils have been spritzed with hammertone silver, looks nice ( but it doesn't mean it actually runs, but I assume it does at this point) looks like a nice job.

Thank you for the detailed reply.  I was told it works.  I think I will be making the day long trip to get this one... Everything looked good from pics, but I wasn't sure about the refrig unit.  Is it OK ti transport on it's back?

Yes overnight is best, but the basic rule is that every hour it's down, you have to stand it up for each (every) hour it's down, minimum of 1 hour.
