Hello, I have an old coke cooler that I will have to store out side through this upcoming winter. Unfortunately I have no extra space to put it inside. Does anyone know of tips to weather proof it? I am worried about the compressor being damaged from the cold. I was thinking of putting cardboard inside the cooler to possibly soak up any moisture.. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!  Cool

I store a few outside through the winter in NJ.. I unplug and wrap in a tarp. Come spring time, I unwrap, give a good cleaning, load it up and plug it in... haven't had any issues so far...

Yep these were made to be outside. I have bought many machines that have been outside unplugged for years and when I get them home they work great. I would just cover it up like Bubba said and let it set until spring.
