I am just wondering what the value of a generic ideal 35 is. The machine cools but is missing the rack and some parts on the coin mech. It has the cap catcher and a nice lid and the body is straight. WHat would you pay. I really want a 35 for some reason. I like the size. I offered $275. Do you think that is too high?

For a generic yes.  Would give that for an embossed without the rack if it was nice though.  The 35 racks are much harder to find then a 55.  Buy the time you buy the rack, get the coin mech working and paint it and decal it you have a pretty pricey little machine imo.

Oh well I bought it anyway. This will be a keeper as well so who cares if I paid slightly too high. And soes anyone here have a rack for it? If not it isn't a big deal as I would like to use it as a reach in anyway. But everyone please keep your eyes open for me.

A Pepsi 35 wasn't embossed and you can cut a 55 rack to fit.
Would be sweet if you can find that large Pepsi decal Cap.
Anything but a Coke (and I'm a Coke guy) Put a little color
in the collection...

I was thinking Frosty rootbeer or Mountain Dew. I do want to do something different with it. Since it is generic it can be anything. Maybe squirt or double cola.

I agree. I loved the frosty 64 I think that might be what I do. Since the 35's had painted lids I was thinking of doing it in a yellow body with the frosty man logo on the front and tilted bottle with the "real taste treat" on the loading door, and then a white lid with the drink frosty root beer from the sign on the cavalier. I posted pics of the decals from my 64. What do you all think. Please add any suggestions.

Josh,

The 35 would look killer done in a Frosty paint scheme!
That's my vote if I can sway your decision!

Here they are. They aren't too good so you might want to use a pic off the website

Do the Frosty.  The Root Beer and slider thing work.  The Mountain Dew Green and White would look better on a upright to me.  I should have mine done by Thanksgiving so we will see.

Eric that looks great.

Josh, I'm voting for the frosty.  I would like to see a Mt Dew machine though.  I am planning on turning my 96 into Mt Dew once I am finished with the 64.
